Abstract
商用電源からの入力電流を高周波に変換し、絶縁された直流電流を得る絶縁型AC-DCコンバータにおいて、総合効率を高めるとともに、構造を簡略化する。 第1のコンバータとして絶縁トランスTを有する複合共振型のハーフブリッジDC-DCコンバータを用い、第2のコンバータとして力率改善のための昇圧チョッパ回路を用いる。したがって、複合共振動作によって、スイッチング周波数を高めても損失の増大を抑制でき、またハーフブリッジ回路であるためにスイッチング素子などの低耐圧化が可能で、総合効率を高めることができる。さらに出力のコンデンサから昇圧チョッパ回路の入力には、電源電圧の全波整流波形と略相似の電圧が得られ、絶縁トランスをまたいでのフィードフォワード回路も不要であるとともに、コンバータの入力側に設けていた電解コンデンサが不要であり、小型・薄型化に有利となる。
