Abstract
L'invention a pour objet un procédé de désulfatation d'un catalyseur d'épuration des gaz d'échappement d'un moteur à combustion interne comportant un composant d'accumulation d'oxydes d'azote susceptible de se charger en sulfates, le catalyseur étant chauffé à une température minimale de régénération et la composition du mélange gazeux, à l'échappement étant réglée, pendant une phase de désulfatation à une richesse supérieure à 1 , Selon l'invention pendant chaque phase de désulfatation, la composition du mélange est ajustée de façon précise à une richesse très peu supérieure à 1 , de préférence de l'ordre de 1 ,01 , de façon à éviter ou, au moins, à réduire les émissions d'espèces soufrées malodorantes.
