Abstract

The invention concerns an inflatable anti-flood barrier consisting of an inflatable elongated envelope (4) housed in a drain (1) buried in the ground (2) and normally closed with a hinged metal plate (3) designed to be lifted and maintained in a substantially vertical position when the envelope (4) is inflated to act as support for the latter on the side opposite to that subjected to the pressure of the water. The invention relates generally to equipment for controlling floods, whether caused by very high swelling of rivers or abnormally heavy rains.
