Abstract

The invention concerns a display device or display stand providing a wide range of positions for displaying objects, in particular wrist-watches or jewellery articles. It provides vertical and horizontal display without changing component. Said device comprises an open C-shaped or open oval band, or strip (1) for receiving the object to be displayed, said strip having an axis (D) inscribed in a plane (π). A first element (15) fixed at one of its ends to the band, or strip, and whereof the other end includes separable fixing means (5) to be assembled to a second element (16) itself removably assembled to a base (4). The means for fixing the first element (15) on the second element (16) consist of an elongated pin designed to be urged into a socket (11) arranged at one of the ends of the second element (16), the axis (B) of said pin extending in the plane (π) of the axis (D) of the band, or strip, and, the other end of the second element also comprises a pin designed to be urged into a socket arranged in a base (4). The axis (A) of the pin of the second element (16) and the axis (B) of the socket (11) arranged on the second element (16) forming an angle (α) ranging between 0° and 90°. The pins (9) of the first element (15) and of the second element (16) comprise cams (10) designed to be urged into notches provided in the sockets (11) arranged respectively on the second element (16) and on the base (4).
