Abstract

L'invention concerne une couche d'étanchéité remplie de bentonite ou d'une autre argile ayant une capacité de gonflement élevée. L'invention vise à retarder l'assèchement de la couche d'argile et à éviter la formation de fissures par retrait ou de fissures par perte dans cette couche. A cet effet, la couche porteuse (1) se présente sous la forme d'une bande élastique en plastique cellulaire présentant une croûte fermée (4) et des cellules ouvertes contenant la bentonite, et le côté ouvert des cellules (5) est recouvert par la bande de couverture (2).
