Abstract
The invention relates to a hollow braided wire cord made of synthetic fiber that is resistant to pulling, tearing, and abrasion as well as having hydrophobic properties, such as, for example, polyamide, polypropylene, polyester. The inventive cord is particularly suitable for use as a floating or weighting cord for fishing nets or fish-farming nets in the icy-cold near-surface zone of the entire hydrosphere. On the site of use of the floating or weighting agents, the twist angle of the individual or multiple-wound monofilament synthetic fiber wires is adjusted to the direction of twist by cadenced deceleration of the withdrawal speed during the lacing twine braiding procedure. This means that, by first broadening and then narrowing the wire hollow braid sheath, the preferably ellipsoidal floating or weighting agent is firmly lodged and enclosed in the wire braid sheath without additional burr fibres. The wires have a diameter or 0.3 mm to 0.5 mm and are braided by a braiding machine having 16 or 24 lacing twines to give a hollow cord with a diameter of 3-7 mm. The cord is characterized particularly by high resistance to abrasion and breaking.
Description
Drahthohlflechtleine aus ChemiefaserstoffHollow wire rope made of chemical fiber
The invention relates to a hollow wire braid made of tensile, tear and abrasion-resistant synthetic fiber material, preferably with a hydrophobic property, and its manufacture in rope operation. The hollow wire braiding line can be used in particular in the fishery-managed, ice-containing area near the surface of the entire hydrosphere.
For the management of seas, inland and coastal waters, fisheries need suitable upper and lower lines for their swimming, drifting and positioning nets as well as for their net cages and net containers for fish rearing, between which the net is arranged perpendicular to the ground for catching or breeding the fish is.
The upper line, also called the floating line, must guarantee the necessary buoyancy and the lower line the sufficient weighting of the net during fishing operations. In addition, due to the considerable forces that act when hauling in the nets filled with marine animals by means of winches via power blocks or similar transport devices of the fishing ships provided with rubber-coated disks or rollers, they have the requirements for a very high tensile, tear and abrasion resistance are enough. It is known that twisted, twisted or beaten lines made of natural materials, such as hemp or sisal, are used in modern fishing by lines made of hydrophobic synthetic fibers such as polyamide, polyester, polyolefins and the like due to their better properties in water and their excellent properties Tensile strength, abrasion resistance and permanent bending strength are replaced during hoisting operation. The buoyancy of the upper line is achieved by means of cuboidal floating bodies made of cork or hydrophobic plastic foams or by means of spherical plastic hollow bodies which are connected to this line directly at intervals from one another. The spacing of the floats depends on the required buoyancy and the prevailing flow rate of the water.
The polyfil microfibre made of polypropylene is particularly suitable for the production of the upper line because of its lower density than water. The lower line, on the other hand, is preferably made from polyfilen microfibers made of synthetic fibers polyamide and polyester, since their density is slightly higher than that of water. Weight lines made of preferably corrosion-resistant metal, for example lead weights, are attached to this line at intervals for weighting the network.
Since the individual floating and weighting bodies arranged externally on the lines are a hindrance in the mechanically operated hoisting process of the net, braided lines have been developed from several parallel or pre-twisted polyfilen macrofibers using bobbin lace technique. A Velcro thread is arranged in the looped braided fiber sheath of the line, which on the upper line within the tightly closed braided fiber sheath has spaced spindle-shaped hydrophobic floating bodies, so-called floats, preferably made of Styrofoam FB 60 and in different weight sizes, and analogously on the lower line spaced weightings Lead leads to each other in a fixed assignment. The disadvantage of these braided lines made of multifilament macro fibers is their limited abrasion resistance and the pronounced tendency to freeze during the lifting process from the freezing water. Icing leads to an undesirable tendency to break on the line.
This disadvantage is due to the fact that when this line is lifted out, the water cannot flow unhindered from the tightly braided core jacket.
The object of the invention is therefore a floating and weighting line for preferably fish nets, which is also characterized by high breaking and abrasion resistance when fishing in ice-cold water. According to the invention the object is achieved in that the line is formed by means of bobbin braiding technology from a tubular hollow wire braid jacket which consists of several individual or two parallel and monofilament synthetic fiber wires which are continuously crossed in the braiding direction and that individual floating or weighting bodies within a continuous distance of the grains of the wire jacket braid are firmly fixed, the outer contour of these bodies being adapted to the elliptical jacket lining. The production of this line is carried out by the fact that the staple wire fiber, which is located on several spools, arranged individually or twice in parallel, leads with uniform tensile force to the raised braiding block of the braiding head of the line braiding machine and after formation of the hollow braided jacket hose by crossing the wire fiber at a defined crossing angle in Braiding direction by means of bobbin-weaving technology, the hollow weave line produced is guided downwards to the line receiving device. The pull-off speed of the line produced is electronically controlled.
According to the invention, the braid angle is varied by alternately clocked take-off speed so that in the phase of increasing the braid angle by lowering the take-off speed, the floating bodies or weighting bodies can be used in the stripping of the hollow braid jacket and that the subsequent increase in the take-off speed reduces the braid angle and thereby reduces the individual The body is tightly enclosed by the wire mesh jacket. The individual bodies are provided from a suitable storage container with a screw jack. The bodies are inserted into the hollow wire braid jacket of the line at defined time intervals, for example by means of a clocked draft of air which conveys the individual bodies over the braid block to the mouth of the hollow wire braid mantle.
The distance between the individual bodies in the hollow wire mesh jacket is determined by the flow velocity of the water in the area where the line is used and by the required buoyancy of the network. The invention will be explained in more detail using an example. In a conventional mechanical floating line braider, which has a bobbin case system with 16 or 24 bobbin spools, the highly tear-resistant staple fiber in the form of the polyamide wire is located on each bobbin spool. The wire has a diameter of 0.3 mm to 0.5 mm and is guided single or double. The pleated polyamide wires are fed from the bobbin spools through hardened and hard-chromed steel eyes, tensioned by means of thread tension springs, to the electrically operated braiding head, which has a braiding floe. This braids the polyamide wires into a hollow line with a diameter of 3 to 7 mm. The automatic feeding of the floats from the magazine to the braiding head works pneumatically with photoelectric monitoring. The floats, for example conventional plastic floats made of polystyrene FB 60, but also cork or foam polystyrene are suitable, depending on the intended use of the line, have a diameter of a minimum of 6 mm to a maximum of 20 mm and a weight range of 1.5 to 6 g. The length of the float can be 2 to 3 times the size of its own diameter. The floating body is inserted into the wire mesh jacket of the line at intervals of approximately 30 to 70 cm by electronic control of the withdrawal delay during the braiding process, the braiding angle of the wires being increased and decreased in the braiding direction. Grazing and contracting the hollow wire mesh jacket is the prerequisite for a firm containment of the float in the wire mesh jacket. The advantage of this hollow wire braid lies in the fact that the constructive construction of the line made of monofilament synthetic fiber wires allows total water to pass through, which effectively eliminates the tendency of the line to break in the ice-carrying water for the first time.
Due to the smooth outer skin of the wire mesh, the line is characterized by excellent abrasion resistance.
