Abstract

A quality and rating label for the textile, clothing and linen industry, enabling to check the care and washing methods used by the customer with respect to the specified temperatures. It is not possible for the textile producer to check and rate in a decisive way and after a repeated use of the products, if the washing instructions have been properly followed or if the products have been mishandled during care, resulting in major size, shape and colour changes in the products. The check, quality and rating labels (fig. A, B and C) usable for one or more utilisation temperatures and for up to twenty wet processings, record on check surfaces (1, 2, 3) provided on tags, the temperatures and the number of wet processings through more or less pronounced intensification, fading or colour change reactions (fig. D). The check and the rating of the care instructions are thus guaranteed, even after a repeated utilisation of the products.

Description

Kontroll-, Güte- und Bewertungs-Warenzeichen für Textilien Control, quality and evaluation trademarks for textiles
The invention relates to a quality and valuation trademark for checking wet and / or temperature treatments of textile fabrics, in particular made-up clothing, household and bed linen, etc.
There are several methods and methods for testing dimensional, shape and color changes in wet and / or temperature treatments, care and cleaning treatments and household or industrial laundry processes for textile fabrics, in particular made-up textiles of all kinds. The quality (preliminary) tests are mainly carried out by the manufacturer of the textiles, the textile refiner, on precisely measured and labeled piece goods or by the garment maker, on precisely made-to-measure garments, imitating the household laundry. The manufacturers of washable ready-made articles preferably equip their products with care instructions, especially washing instructions at temperatures of 30, 40, 60 or 95 ° C., which, predominantly in the presence of moisture and / or temperature, ensure the quality of non-shrinkage and dimensional stability and determine and influence the color fastness of the laundry items. For the most part, these care instructions are made clearly visible to the consumer by means of a printed label that is sewn into the item of laundry. The main criterion and the actual difficulty in determining the quality of washable textiles lies in the failure to observe the washing instructions, carelessness or incorrect manipulation by the end user, for example a washing operation with the care instructions of 60 ° C. at cooking temperature, which is very difficult often lead to complaints, negative word of mouth advertising and discrimination of the articles in question, especially if the items of clothing and clothing undergo excessive changes in shape, size and color.
The invention is based on the object of monitoring the care regulations of the manufacturers of textile consumables and of checking them after all wet care treatments and at every prescribed temperature level and, if necessary, of proving incorrect care manipulations.
In the sense of this task solution, control surfaces are proposed on sewable labels or on the textile article itself, which according to the invention are characterized in that they have one or more printing ink or woven surfaces, which are characterized by the number of wet treatments and / or temperature effects as well as different ones Reduce temperature levels successively (Fig. D), build up or have changed.
Es zeigen:The invention is explained below on the basis of the accompanying drawings and photocopy, for example. Show it:
A shows a label created in the printing process with three different application temperatures. B shows a woven label with warp and weft flotation and three different application temperatures.
Fig. C eine gewobene Etikette mit Kett- oder Schussfadenflot- tierung sowie drei unterschiedlichen Anwendungstempe¬ raturen.C shows a woven label with warp or weft flotation and three different application temperatures.
Figures A, B and C can be produced mutually and for example in the printing process or weaving technology and in all possible forms.
Fig. D eine Praxis-Farbabbau-Analyse für 40, 60 und 95 °C.Fig. D a practice color degradation analysis for 40, 60 and 95 ° C.
The color printing pastes provided and designed for the different wet fastness properties and temperature levels (quality classes) are preferably printed in a known multicolor printing process, for example in accordance with FIG mentioned printing inks if necessary aftertreated. The labels Fig. B and Fig. C are woven with threads dyed in the pull-out process and dyes of different authenticity classes, and white material for contour limitation. FIGS. A, B and C are shown, for example, for the simplified illustration of FIG. D in three temperature stages, 1 = 40 ° C., 2 = 60 ° C. and 3 = 95 ° C.
For a clear representation of the application of the control trademark according to the invention, the color degradation analysis shown in FIGS. A, B and C is shown in FIG. Chen, in terms of application technology disassembled in number of wet treatments and the temperature levels mentioned. Fig.D thus shows the number of wet treatments (1 to 20) horizontally and the vertical, in the three main columns, the temperature levels 1 = 40, 2 = 60 and 3 = 95 ° C. All three main columns are divided into three further, narrower and color sample columns, the quality classes.
Die Doppelzahlen der Güteklassen bedeuten:The double numbers of the quality classes mean:
