DESIGN FOR A STOVE.
Specification forming part of Design No. 9,715, dated January 23, 1877; application led October 14, 1876. [Term of Patent 7 years] To all, whom it maypoucern:
Be it known that we, WATSON SANFORD, of Brooklyn, in the county ot' Kings and State of New York, and GEORGE 'D. SANFORD, of Peekskill, in the county of Westchester and State of New York, have originated and designed a Pattern for Stoves, Ot' which the following is a full, clear, and exactA description, reference being had to the accompanying photographic illustration, making part ot' this speeication, in which the nature of our design is fully represented. y
The present design consists, rst, in the swell-front doors, and lines, inimitation of plain molding, contained on the edges thereof, and orna mental border on Said doors, Surround ing the above, (marked on the photograph a and 2);) second, in the ornamental border on the side ot' the stove, immediately below the top plate, (marked c on the photograph third, in the flat vertical corners of the stovefront, with the Ornamental lines thereon, (marked l on the photograph 5) fourth, in the sectional octagonal projections on the stovefront, immediately below the ash-pit door, (marked e on the photographg) fth, in the swell-front panel, and ornamental border surrounding the same, immediately belowthe lhearth-piece, (marked f ou the photograph sixth, in the hearth ornamental base and corner thereon, (marked g on the photograph seventh, in the word Banquea77 on one or more of the doors of the stove.
We claim-- 1. The design of stove-door consisting of a swell front, with molding On the edges and ornamental border surrounding same, (marked a and b.)
2. The design of stove-front consisting of ornamental border c, immediately below the top plate.
3. The design of corners d of the stove-front.
4. The design of stovefront consisting of projections e, immediately below the ash-pit door.
5. The design OE panel f, immediately below the hearth-plate.
6. The hearth, ornamental base, and corner thereto, g g g. y
7. The design ot' the word Banquet7 on the oven-door, as shown.
