DESIGN FOR BOXES.
Specification forming part of Design No. 7,849, dated November l0, 1874; application filed July 3l, 1574. [Term of Patent 3l years] To all whom it may couocrn:
Be it known that I, JAMES UOMLY, of the city and county of Philadelphia, and the State of Pennsylvania, have invented a new and use` ful Design for a Box; and I do hereby declare the following to be a clear and exact descrip tion of the nature thereof', sufficient to enable others skilled in the art to which my invention appertains to fully understand, make, and use the same, reference being had to the acconr panying drawings making part of this specification, in which- Figures l and 2 are views of two sides of the box embodying my invention. Fig. 3 is a top view thereof.

My invention relates to a design for a box, which is fully illustrated inthe accompanying drawings, to which reference is made.
a represents the body of the box, which is of the form of a house. The top of the house is occupied by gablcs b b b b, which are continuous of and adjoin each other, and of which there is one for each side of the body.
It will be seen that each side has a gable centrally, and as the several gables adjoin and are continuous they constitute the entire roof of the house, there being no roof proper between the gables, so that the tops of the backs ot' the gables arc at the central point ot' the roof, whereby the design shows large and wellnlarked gables on a small house.
Projecting upwardly from the central point of union ot' the gables is a pinnacle, c.
lhat I claim as my invention is- The design for a box of house form, having a gable, b, centrally at each side, the several ga bles being continuous of and adjoining each other, and constituting the entire root' ol' the house, as shown and set forth.
