Be it known that I, .ltonEn'r ALLAN, of the city of Yonkers, county of \Ycstchester and State of New York, have invented or produced a new and original Design for a Pattern to be lnwronght into Ingrain and other Uarpeting, in colors similar to those painted on the drawings or photographs accompanying this specification, or in other colors substituted in-the place of those painted on the drawings or photographs herewith; and I do hereby declare that the drawings accompanying this specification do give and convey to any one skilled in the art of carpetweaving a delined and thorough description of the nature of 11)) invention, and are suliieicnt to enable any one skilled in the artot' carpet-weaving to use my invention.

\Vhat I claim as in invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-

The configuration of the design hereunto annexed, when applied to carpeting, in the form similar to the drawings or photographs accompanying this specification.
