DESIGN FOR DRAWER-PULL.

Specification forming part of Design No. 5,464, dated January 9, 1872.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, ALBERT D. JUDD, of New Haven, in the county of New Haven and State of Connecticut, have invented a new Design for Drawer-Pull; and I do hereby declare the following, when taken in connection with the accompanying drawing, to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, and which said drawingconstitutes part of this specification and represents a front view.

This invention relates to a design for drawerpulls, which are usually formed from cast-- metal, the object being an improved form as well as a new ornamentation; and the invention consists, first, in the peculiar con figuration of the drawer-pull; and second, in the peculiar ornamentation, as shown in the accompanying illustration and as hereinafter described.

The front of the drawerpnll is straight upon its lower edge, with vertical ends and segmental top. From each end and from the top extend back flaring portions to form the sides and top, as shown in the illustration, to give the required projection to the front, these sides and top conforming to the configuration of the front. For the purpose of securing the pull to the drawer-front ears or projections are formed at each end, substantially as shown. The front of the drawer-pull I ornament by a recessed panel, with a head in relief thereon, substantially as shown in the accompanying illustration, and this is the peculiar ornamentation which I. desire to secure as my designthat is to say, the placing of a head upon the front of the pull.

I claim 1. The design or configuration for drawerpull, consisting of straight lower-edged vertical sides and segmental top, as herein described.

2. The design for ornamentation of the front of a drawer-pull, as herein described and as shown in the accompanying illustration.
