Specification forming part of Design No 5,070, dated July 4, 1871.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, LEwIs Cnoonn, of the city, county, and State of New York, have invented and produeed a new and original Design in Shut ter-Bars, of which the following is a speciticzn tion:

Figure 1 is a side View of my shutter-bar, the

parts being represented in the position the oeenpy when the shutter-bar is hooked or fastened. The form of the hook is shown in the dotted lines. Fig. 2 is an under-side view of the same.

A is a bar, which connects the two plates 13 and C when the shutters or blinds are closed and fastened. This bar A is made of the form repreing.
