v IMPROVEMENT VIN SHUTTER-FASTENERS.
Specification forming partof Letters Patent No. 112.840, dated March 21, 1371.
To all vwhoml 'it may concern:
Be it known that I, CHARLES PABST, ofthe city of Wilmington, New Castle county, and State of Delaware, have invented a new Tindow-Shntter Fastener and Stay-Back; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full and exact description thereof, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, and to the letters ot' reference marked thereon.
Figure 1 shows the shatterAentirelyelosed, and shutter B entirely open. In Fig. 2 there are the shutters C both part; way open. Fig. 3, in its three views, shows the fastener and staybaek separate.
The plate I is screwed onto the bottom of the shatters.
The two connecting-links E and F, which are attached to the plate by the eye Gr, hold either ot' the shutters closed, part; way open, or entirely open, by putting either one ot' the holes A, 13, C, andl) of linkE npon the pin 1I, 1-` ig. 4, which is a pin screwed upon the win low-sill for the purpose of receiving the link E to keep the shutter entirely closed or open, as desired.
