DESIGN FOR WlNDOW-FASTENERS.

The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and making part of the same.

To all whom. it 'nuty concern.

Be it known that I, WILLIAM NELSON, ot Anderson, in the county of Madison and State of Indiana, have invented a certain new and useful Design for a \VindowFastener; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description thereof', reference being had to the accompanying drawing and to the letters of reference marked thereon which forni a part of this specification, in which is represented a plan of the fastener.

To enab1e others skilled in the art to make and use my invention, I will now describe its construction and operation.

A represents the body of the fastener, which is excavated, as shown in the drawing, and provided with the inclined slot b, through which a screw passes, and thus secures the fastener' to the sash.

a represents a weighted arm, cast npon the lower extremity oi' body A, and e, a hook upon its opposite side.

As the accompanying drawing fully represents the design for which I desire Letters Patent, it is useless to further describe it. Suffice it to say that the Weighted arm will aid much in the eective working of the fastener, as it will canse the hook to swing into the notches out in the casing.

What I claim is- The design herein shown and described for a window-sash fastener.
