DESIGN FOR A BOTTLE.

The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and making part cf the same.

To all whom 'it may conce-rn.-

Be it known that I, JAMES MACKINTIRE, of New York city, in the county and State of New York,

Y have invented a new and original Design fora Bottle;

and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description thereof, which will en able others skilled in the art to make and use the same, reference bein had to the accompanying drawing forming aparto this specification.

The drawing represents a side View of my new bottle.

This invention relates to anew design for the upper parts and neckspf glass bottles.

Tbebody A of the bottle is made square, and support-s the circular base of t-he neck, the side of said base being vertical. g

From the base A projects a cavetto, b, which oonstitutes the lower port-ion of the circular neck, the upper part c of the said neck being cylindrical, and smaller in diameter than the top of the cavetto, so that a step, d, is formed between b and c.

A ange, e, projects around the upper end of the bottle.

I do not claim nor yconfine myself to the shape ot' the body A of the bottle, which may be cylindrical or prismatic, or of other suitable form; but

I do claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patentlhe design for the neck of the bottle, consisting of the members a, b, and c, as shown.
