To all whom it 'may concern Be it known that I, RoBER'r W ALLACE, of Wallingford, in the county of New Haven and Stilte of Connecticut, have invented a. new Design for Sugar- 'longs; and I do hereby declare the following, when taken in connection with the accompanying drawings and the letters of reference marked thereon, to be a, full, clear, and exact description of the same, and which said drawings constitute pnrt of this specification, and represent in Figure l ar side view, und in Figure 2 the bow or spring extended.

This invention relates to adesign for the spring portion of sugnn ton gs, and tongs for similar purposes, and consists in the peculiar form and conligumt-ion of the edge of the spring portion, or connection between the two handles, as more fully hereafter described.
