SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 36,204, dated January 27, 1903.
Application filed December 26,1902, Serial No. 136,752- Term of patent 3i years.
To all whom, it ntay concern:
Be itknown that I, DE WATT PEPPER, acitizen of the United States, residing at New Milford, in the county of Litchfield and State of Connecticut, have invented and produced a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Divan-Frame; and Ido hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art t1 which it appertains to make and use the same.
The accompanying drawing shows a front elevation of my new design.
As shown in the drawing, the leading or material features of my design consist of the downwardly-sloping side rails 1, the front columns 2 at each end of the frame upon which the forward extremities of said rails rest, the upper portions of said columns be ing bounded by compound curves, which converge from the upper extremities to a point immediately below the rails l. and thence diverge gradually, this particular portion of these columns having groove-like ornamentations 3, which are vertically disposed, ornamental bead-like portions 4 of different sizes immediately below the portions of the columns just described, plain fiat horizontallydisposed portions 5 immediately below the portions 4:, and leg-like parts U, depending from the portions 5 and having their lower extremities terminating in double toe-like representations 7 8.
Having thus described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The ornamental design for a divan-frame, as herein shown and described.
