UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE.
l 'MOSES H. EISEMAN, OF CHICAGO, ILLINOIS, ASSIGNOR OF ONE-HALF TO VORMS dr LOEB, OF CHICAGO, ILLINOIS, A FIRM.
DESIGN FOR A BELT.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 36,163, dated December 9, 1902.
Application led September 11, 1902. Serial No. 123,037. Term of patent Si years.
T0 @ZZ whom t 11i/ay concern:
Be it known that I, MosEs H. EISEMAN, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of Chicago, in the county of Cook and State of Illinois, have invented and produced a new, original, and ornamental Design for Belts, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof.
The figure is a View in elevation showing the belt in extended position.
As shown, the belt comprises two strips A and A of open-work or net fabric. The upper and lower edges of each of these strips A and A has a scalloped border ct, and extending midway of the center of each strip is a sinuous rib a'. At the back of the belt are two rings B and B, arranged one above the other and secured together, and through these rings the strips A and A pass, respectively. The rings B and B are covered with cord and have the appearance of radiating from the center of the rings, the periphery of each of the rings being bounded by a similar cord bg. At each side of the belt and at a distance from the back rings B and B is a ring B2, similar in appearance to the rings B and B. Through each of tbe rings B2 both of the strips A and A pass. From the rings B2 to the front the strips A and A overlap or lie one upon d the other. At the front of the belt are two rings B3, similar in appearance to the rings B, B, and B2, and the strips A and A' pass through these rings.
The ends of the belt are connected together by a hook D upon one end of the belt, that enters an eye D, secured to the ring B3 at the other end of the belt; but the hook and eye are covered by the strips A and A when the belt is in clasped position.
Having thus described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The ornamental design for a belt as herein shown and described.
MOSES H. EISEMAN.
