DESIGNFOR A BOTTLE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 36,144, dated November 18, 1902.
Application filed October 13,1902. Serial No. 127,192. Term of patent years.
To [0% whom, it may concern:
Be it known that I, CHARLES C. BONNERT, a citizen of the United States, residing at Baltimore city, in the State of Maryland, have invented and produced a new, original, and ornamental Design for Bottles, of which the following is a specification.
My invention relates to a new, original, and ornamental design for bottles.
The leading or material feature of my design consists of a bottle having a body which is approximataly oval in cross-section, a recess in the front of the body, and vertical corrugations extending the entire length of the two opposite sides and the rear of the bottle, and corrugations extending from the body upwardly on the neck of the bottle to an annnlar head, all arranged so as to give an ornamental appearance.
In the accompanying drawings, Figure 1 is a front view of my bottle. Fig. 2 is a side view of same, and Fig. 3 is a cross-section on the line a a of Fig. 1.
Referring to the accompanying drawings, 1 designates the body of the bottle, and 2 the neck. The body of the bottle is provided with vertical corrugations 3, extending the full length of the two sides and the rear thereof, and a recess 4 in front for the reception of suitable pictorial or advertising matter. The lower part of the neck 2 is provided with vertical corrugations 5, extending from the body 1 upwardly to an annular head 6. The neck 2 is provided with a second head 7, above which latter the neck tapers toward the mouth or opening of the bottle, all of said parts being so arranged as to give an ornamental appearance to the bottle.
Having described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The ornamentaldesign fora bottle substantially as herein shown and described.
