DESIGN FOR A BOTTLE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 35,894, dated May 6, 1902.
Application fil d March 31, 1902. Serial No. 100,849. Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, RIoHARD HUDNUT, a citizen of the United States, residing at Manhattan borough, New York city, in the county and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Bottles, of which the followingis aspecification.
My invention relates to anew and original design for bottles and is illustrated in the accompanying drawings, in which Figure 1 is a front view'of the bottle. 2 is a View of a side of the bottle.
The leading feature of my new design resides in a bottle ornamented upon three sides with a tracing in relief. The front ornamen- Fig.
tation or tracing is what may be called a somewhatheart-shaped configuration or scroll, and each lateral ornamentation is in form of an arabesqne or twist figure.
In the said drawings the letter a indicates the body portion of the bottle, which is rectangular in contour and converges at its top 1 into a cylindrical neck portion, the latter at its lowerend having an annularbead or shonl der. The body portion of the bottle has on its front or on one of its wide faces the relief I) of open or bulging configuration or, as it might be called, approximately heart-shaped outline. Each of the sides has the relief or ornamentation c of arabesque 0r twist form.
My design presents a bottle having a novel, pleasing, and distinguished appearance.

The design for a bottle substantially as herein shown and described.
