DESIGN FOR AN APPAREL-BELT.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 35,840, dated April 1, 1902.
Application filed March 8, 1902. Serial No. 97,364. Term of patent 3% years.
To all whom it 77mg; concern.-
Be it known that I, OTTO A. LEHMAN, a citiien of the United States, and a resident of I-Ioboken, in the county of Hudson and State of New Jersey,have inventeda new and useful original Design for an Apparel-Belt, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof, in which the figure represents a face view of the apparel-belt embodying my design.
As shown in the drawing, the leading 01' material feature of my design consists in an apparel-belt having a general curved form from :5 end to end, the lower edge presenting an irregular outline comprising a central blunt point 1, having concave edges 2 and 3 leading therefrom and convex edges at and 5 leading from the concave edges to the ends of :0 the belt, and the upper edge presenting an irregular outline comprising a central sharp point 6 opposite the blunt point 1, said sharp point 6 having concave edges 7 and 8, developed into convex edges 9 and 10 opposite the 5 concave edges 2 and 3 and concave edges 11 and 12 opposite the convex edges 4 and 5, the face of the belt being ornamented by two figures, each figure comprising upper and lower longitudinal lines 13 and 14:, connected at their outer ends and connected at their inner ends to the inner ends of the upper and lower lines of the other figure, intermediate longitudinal lines 15 and 16, connected at their outer ends, a series of short curved lines 17, connecting the upper and lower lines 13 and 14 with the inner ends of the intermediate lines 15 and 16, and circles 18 in the spaces adjacent to the inner ends of the intermediate lines.
What I claim is The design for an apparel-belt, substantially as herein shown and described.
