SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 35,565, dated January '7, 1902.
Application filed December 5, 1901. Serial No. 84,839 Term of patent '7 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, ROBERT GODFREY, a citizen of the United States, residing at Cambridge, in the county of Middlesex and State of Massachusetts, have invented and produced a new and useful Design for Wall-Ties and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same.
In the drawings, Figure 1 is a front view of the wall-tie. Fig. 2 is a plan View of the walltie.
As shown in the drawings, the leading or material feature of the design consists of a fiat plate having at its ends two lugs which project upward and two lugs which project downward, a V-shaped projection depending from its middle part, holes in the plate on each side of the said projection, and narrow flanges which project on opposite sides of the plate all around it and its lugs and V-shaped projection.
A is the flat plate, and B and C are respectively the upwardly and downwardly projecting lugs at its ends.
D is the V-shaped projection which depends at the middle part of the plate A.
E represents the holes in the plate A, arranged on opposite sides of the projection D, and F represents the flanges, which extend all around the plate A, the lugs B and C, and the projection D.
I claim-- The design for a wall-tie, as herein shown and described.
In testimony whereof I affix my signature in presence of two witnesses.
ROBERT GODFREY.
