DESIGN FOR A GAS-VAPORIZING FRAME.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 35,287, dated November 12, 1901.

Application filed October 1, 1901. Serial No. 77,253. Term of patent '7 yearsv To all whom it may concern.-

Be it known that I, GLEARMONT V. BEST, residing at Canton, in the county of Stark and State of Ohio, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Gas-Vaporizing Frames, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof.

Figure 1 is a front edge view. side elevation. Fig. 3 is a rear edge View. Fig. 4 is a top View.

As shown in the drawings, the leading or material feature of my design consists of the tapered cylinder consisting of the two tapered portions 1 and 2, said tapered portions divided by an annular flange 3, and a straight cylinder 4, extended from the top of the tapered portion 2 and its bottom or lower end provided with an annular flange 5. Between the flanges 3 and 5 and upon opposite sides of the tapered portion 2 are located the ribs 6, which ribs are provided with the notches 7, said notches or openings located one above the other. To the side of the tapered portion 1 is located a flange 8, which flange extends downward from the bottom or under side of the right-angled extension 9, which right-an- Fig. 2 is a gled extension joins the tapered portion 1. To one side of the downward-extending tube is located the web 10, the outer edge of which shows a rib 11, which rib joins the right-angled extension 9 at its upper end and the crossflange 12 at its bottom end, said cross-flange 12 having a straight cylindrical portion 13 joined to the cross-flange 12, as shown. To one side of the right-angled extension 9 is formed a tapered flange 14, which tapered flange extends upward, intersecting the flange 3, and joins the bottom or under side of the flange 5. The portion of said tapered flange 14 located between the two flanges 3 and 5 is located intermediate the ribs 6.

The design for a gas-vaporizing frame substantially as shown and described.
