DESIGN FOR A TRADEMARK.

The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and making part of the same.

To all whom yit may concern Be it known that I, WILLIAM MADDOX, of Ripley, inthe county of Brown, and in the State of Ohio. have invented a certain new and useful Design for Label; and do hereby declare that the following is a t'nll, clear, and exact description thereof, reference beingI had to the accompanying drawings, and to the letters oi' rei'- erence marked thereon, making a part of this specilication.

The nature of my invention consists in the combination of certain letters in snch a manner as to forni a label, to be used as a trade-niark.

There are four of these letters, J, T, A, and R, which are intertwined, as shown in the accompanying drawing, in such a manner as to forni a monogram, which l desire to use as a design for a label.

Having thus described my invention,
