DESIGN FOR A HAMMOCK-SPREADER.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 33,965, dated January 22, 1901; Application filed December 28, 1900. tierial No. 41,426. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, ISAAC E. PALMER, a citizen of the United States,and a resident of Mid dletown, in the county of Middlesex and State of Connecticut, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Hammock- Spreader, of which the following is a specification.
The essential feature of my design consists in a hammock-spreader provided with balls or knobs at its opposite ends.
In the accompanying drawings, Figure 1 is a. view of the spreader in side elevation. Fig. 2 is a top plan view, and Fig. 3 is a transverse section on the line 3 3 of Fig. l.
The shank or body of the spreader is denoted by a and presents in side elevation a slightly curved form. It is cylindrical in cross-section and presents a diametric'al line b, dividing it into upper and lower longitudinal sections. It presents a series of perforations 0 along its side and a series of screwheads d along its top. The balls or knobs at its opposite ends are denoted, respectively, by e and f.
What I claim is The design for a hammock-spreader substantially as herein shown and described.
