DESIGN FOR AN ANGLE-COUPLING.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 33,224, dated September 18, 1900.
Application filed August 17, 1900. Serial No. 27,215. Term of patent 14 years.
To alt w/wm it may concern Be it known that I, HENRY G. THOMPSON, acitizen of the United States, residing at New Haven, county of New Haven, and State of Connecticut, have invented and produced a new, useful, and original Design fol-an Angle- Oonpling, of which the following is a specificalion, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof.
Figure 1 shows in side elevation an anglecoupling, illustrating my design; and Fig. 2 is a view looking at one end thereof.
As shown in the accompanying drawings, the leading featn re of my design for an angleconpling consists in an elongated tubular body curved longitudinally between its ends, one end having a series of peripheral grooves and the other end being provided with a peripherally-grooved circular enlargement or flange having a tapering projection extended from its outer face. The elongated tubular bodyf is curved longitudinally between its ends, as at f, Fig. I, and at one end the body has a series of peripheral grooves j", the other end of the body having a circular enlargement or flangef, peripherally grooved, as at f a tapering projection f extending from the outer face of the enlargement in axial alinement with the adjacent portion of the body.
Having fully described my design, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The design for an angle-coupling, substantially as herein shown and described.
