DESIGN FOR AN ENGINE-FRAME.
SIECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 32,749, dated May 29, 1900.
Application filed April 25, 1900. Serial No. 14,358. Term oipatent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, JOHN C. SPEIRS, of Worcester, in the county of Worcester and State of Massachusetts, have invented and produced a certain new and original Design for an Engine-Frame, of which the following isa specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof.
My design relates to the side frame of an engine, and is shown in the accompanying drawing, which represents a perspective view of the frame.
The invention consists in the novel configuration imparted to the frame 1. (Shown in the drawing.) At the top of the frame is a horizontal ring 2, from opposite points on the lower side 01' which project two arms 3 3. At the lower ends of said arms 3 the frame takes a lateral bend, forming a horizontal shelf 4, and then continues downwardly to form a substantial]y-triangular lower part 5, the up per base of which coincides with the upper edge of the shelf 4. At the lower apex of the triangular portion 5 is a vertical ring 0. At the upper apexes of the triangle, on the ends of the shelf 4, are two parallel horizontal shoulders or enlargements 7 7.
I claim- The design for an engineframe, snhstan- 3o tially as herein shown and described.
