SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 32,033, dated December 26, 1899. Application filed September 14, 1899; Serial No. 730,607. rain] of patent 7 year's.
To aZZ whom it may concern.-
Be it known that 1, JAMES H. HORNE, a citizen of the United States, residing at Dayton, in the county of Montgomery and State of Ohio, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Ceiling for Cars, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof.
Figure 1 of the drawings represents an in verted plan view, and Fig. 2 a perspective sectional view, of my new design for a carceiling.
The special or leading feature of my design consists of the peculiar configuration or shape for a ceiling for cars, the same being composed of acentral elevated portionA and two lower portions B B, disposed or arranged as shown in the drawings. The said portion A is sub stantially semicircular in form; and the said portions B B are each curved to substantially the arc of a circle. The terminal edges F G of the said portions A and B B are joined together by strips II H.
Having described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The design for a ceiling for cars as herein described and shown.
