DESIGN FOR FABRIC.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 29,915, dated December 27, 1898. Application filed November 29, 1898. Serial No. 697,799. Term of patent 3i years.

To all whom it may concern.-

Be it known that 1, WILLIAM II. MAYER, a

city of New York, borough of Manhattan, in the county and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Fabric, of which the following isa specification, reference being had to the accompanyin g drawing, forming a part thereof, in which is represented a plan view of a piece of fabric embodying the features of my design.

The design embodies fanciful floral figures, sundry of which have single and others dual foliage stems. The stems bear flowers, the leaves whereof are curled and radiate from a common center, While the centers of the flowers represent clusters of elliptically-shaped leaves arranged at an angle to the radial leaves. Clu fi fg of circular figures appeal in pyramidal order adjacent to variOdS 0f the flowers.

The leading feature of the design consists of a fanciful flower formed with leaves radiating from a common center and a center representing a group of elliptically-shaped WILLIAM II. MAYER.
