Application filed November 28, 1898. Serial No. 697,705. Term of patent 7 years.
To (LZZ whom it may concern Be it known that 1, WILLIAM M. CLARK, a citizen of the United States, residing at Boscobel, in the county of Grantand State of Wis consin, have invented and prod need a new and original Design for a Bag-Tie, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof, in which Figure 1 is a perspective view of a bag tie embodying the features of my design, and Fig. 2 is a transverse section on the line 2 2 of Fig. 1.
The design embodies an elongated open loop-body A, contracted at its open end, both members of the body at said open end being bent to form an eye, and the eyes (designated as B and B) are carried in opposite directions. A space intervenes the terminal of each eye and the bow or body, and the eye 13' at its terminal is given a hook formation, the hook being in the same vertical plane with the end of the eye.
The leading feature of the design consists in the elongated loop-body A, both members of the body at its open end being bent to form an eye, which eyes are carried in opposite di rections, one of said eyes having its terminal bent to form a hook,
I claim The design for a bag-tie herein shown and described.
