DESIGN FOR A CHANNEL-IRON.
To alt whom it may concern:
Be it known that 1, JAMES H. BAKER, a citizen of the United States, residing at Allegheny, in the county of Allegheny and State of Pennsylvania,have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Channel- Iron, of which the following is a specification.
In the accompanyingdrawing, which makes part of this specification, the figure is an isometrical perspective of the channel-iron.
In the view presented the shape is, generally speaking, channel-shaped in cross-section, having a flange A and a flange A, connected by a Web 13. The upper surfaces of both flanges are rounded at a and b. The inner edge of flange A merges into the Web 13 Witnesses:
