DESIGN FOR A TROUSERS-FASTENER MEMBER.
To all whom, it may concern:
Be it known that 1, AUGUST SALICH, a citizen of the United States, residing at Denton in the county of Benton and State of Texas, have invented a new and original Design for a Trousers-Fastener Member, of which the following is a specification.
This invention relates to a new and original design fora trousers-fastener member; and it has for its object to provide a design of this character that shall be both useful and ornamental.
The leading feature of the design resides in atrousers-fastener member provided with duplicate compoundly-cnrved edges oonvergin g to a common point, oppositely-inclined leafshaped openings,and a triangularly-arranged group of circular openings.
A minor feature of the design resides in the trousers-fastener member having a flat bodyplate folded into a substantial U form and provided at one side with an offset U-shaped hook lying parallel thereto.
In the drawings, Figure 1 is a perspective view of a trousers-fastener member embodying the herein-described design. Fig. 2 is a similar view showing the reverse side of the member. Fig. 3 is a cross-sectional view of the member.
Referring to the accompanying drawings, the numeral 1 designates the body-plate of the trousers-fastener member, which is folded upon itself into a substantial U shape to provide duplicate parallel plate portions 2. The parallel plate portions 2 are provided with compoundly-ourved edges 3, converging to a common point 4, oppositelyinclined leafshaped openings 5, and with a triangularlyarranged group of small circular openings 6. One of said parallel plate portions 2 is further provided with superficial serrations 7, following the com poundl y-curved edges 3 and extending around the small circular openings and across the face of the plate. The other plate portion 2 is provided near the folded edge of the body with an offset U-shaped hook 7, lying parallel thereto.
\Vhat I claim is The design for a trousers-fastener member herein shown and described.
