TO ALL .WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

Be it known that I, W. Gr. WILSON, of Cleveland, in the county of Cuyahoga, and State of Ohio, have originated a. new Design for Sewing-Machines, of which the following is a. full, clear, and exact description, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, making part of this specication.

This form is intended for a reciprocating-shuttle machine. It consists of a cylindrical bed-piece, A, with an adjustable cap, a; said bed-piece being provided with circumferential horizontal grooves b b. The bedpiece is hollow, and contains the shuttle and any other mechanism that may be desired. A curved arm, c, projects from a foundation-piece,.e, attached to one side of cylindrical bed-piece. The curved arm has, at various points on its surface, projections h, which may represent stumps of branches. At its forward end, the curved arm is provided with the usual vertical plate z' for the support of the needle-mechanism.

Having thus described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-

The configuration of the parts herein shown and described, the same consisting of' the bed-piece A, the curved arm c, and the projections h, substantially as set forth.
