TO ALL WHOM I'I MAY CONCERN:

Be it known that I, ELEMIR J. NEY, of Lowell, in the county of Middlesex, and State of Massachusetts, have originated and designed a new Pattern for Carpets or other fabrics, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, making part of this specification.

A A are quarters of a figure, which when matched will forni a. cross lying at right angles, resting on sprigwork. B B are quarters of two wreaths, resting on plain ground surrounded by scrolls. C C are scrolls.

The colors employed for the different portions of' the design may be varied to suit the taste and wish of the manufacturer. i
