DESIGN FOR A BOTTLE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 27,320, dated July 13, 1897.
Application filed June 3,1897. Serial No. 639,344. Term of patent 7 years.

Be it known that I, \VILLIAM T. MURPHY, a citizen of the United States, residing at Brooklyn, in the county of Kings and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Bottles, of which the following is a specification.
Figure 1 shows a front view of the bottle; Fig. 2, a side view of same; Fig. 3, a crosssection of the neck of the bottle, lookingdown on the body part. Fig. 4 shows a cross-section through the body of the bottle.
The body of the bottle at the front side presents a vertical depressed paneled wall A, which is convex or rounded at the center and has straight portions sloping therefrom toward each side I). The said panel is rounded at its four corners. At its rear side 0 the wall of the body has no panel, but otherwise has the same form. At the sides I) b the form of the body is rounded horizontally in distinction to being angular. The diameter of the body from side to side is greater than the diameter from front to rear, giving the body an app roximate diamond shape in cross-sectiona diamend shape that is without angles or points.
On top of this body is a circular flaring neckbase 0, and below the head (I is a swelled bulging neck e, which rests on said circular base. The neck itself, besides being bulging, has numerous vertical flat faces f.
Having described my invention, I claim The design for a bottle, as herein shown and described.
