DESIGN FOR A BADGE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 26,965, dated April 2'7, 189?.
Application filed March 26, 1897. $erial N0- 629,44'7. Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that we, JAMES A. MONTGOM- RY and GEORGE A. MONTGOMERY, citizens of the United States, residing at Los Angeles, in the county of Los Augeles and State of California, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Badge, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, showing the same.
Figure 1 is a View of a badge, showing our design. Fig. 2 is a section of the same on line 2 2, Fig. 1.
Our new design for a badge consists of a plate A, with a fiat surface a, with a raised rococo border a, surmounted with a crown a", and a shield-shaped pendent flap B, with a fiat surface Z) and raised rococo border Z) and a raised grizzly bear b in relief.
The characteristic features of the design are the plate with flat surface, raised rococo border, and crown, and the shield-shaped pendcut with the raised rococo border and the raised grizzly bear in relief.
What we claim is The design for a badge substantially as shown and described.
