DESIGN FOR A BICYCLE-LAMP.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 26,736, dated March 9, 1897.
Application filed January 29, 1897. Serial N0.6Z1,246, Term of patent 7 years.
1'0 all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that 1, Lotus 1. \VHITEMAN,a citizen of the United States, and a resident of the city of New York, in the county and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Lamp, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof, and in which is illustrated a side elevation of a lamp incorporating my design.
The leading feature of my design consists of the form and configuration of the lamp, substantially as illustrated in the accompanying drawing.
In the drawing, A denotes the vertical cylindrical body of the lamp; B, the cap on said body; I), the base and oil-fount for said body; E, the lens at the front of said body; F, the mounting for the lens, and G the jewel side light for the body A. The cap B and base I) are of ornamental form, as shown, and the parts of the lamp form a harmonious whole of ornate appearance.
\Vhat I claim is- The design for a lamp, substantially as shown and described.
