DESIGN FOR AN END FRAME FOR METAL BEDSTEADS.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 26,689, dated February 23, 1897.

To atZZ whom it may concern Be it known that 1, DAVID FRANK, a citizen of the United States, residing at the city of Brooklyn, in the county of Kings and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for End Frames for Metal Bedsteads, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof, and which illustrates in front elevation the end frame of a metal bedstead embodying my design.
The leading feature of my design consists in the ornamental outlines described by the metal rods which compose the main body of the frame intermediate the outer vertical posts and upper and lower horizontal rails, substantially as shown in the accompanying drawing.
In the drawing, A A designate the outer vertical posts.
B denotes an upper plain horizontal rail, O
a lower rail, and D D indicate the upper and lower horizontal rails extending between said vertical posts A A and describing with said posts a rectangular outline or panel, within which are the four concavo-convex figures E, which are defined by the rods F and extend from the corners to the center of the abovementioned rectangular outline or panel formed by the posts A and the upper and lower rails D, as shown. At the converging point of the four concave-convex figures E is a casting or box G, above and below which are the rods H.
hat I claim is The design for the end frame of a metal bedstead; substantially as shown and described.
