TO ALL WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

Be it known that I, ELI W. BAILEY, of the city of Philadelphia, in the county of Philadelphia, in the State of Pennsylvania, have originated and designed a new Design for a Trade Mark, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, making a part of this specification.

My trade mark represents the terrestrial globe, showing the northern and southern American continents. On the north pole of said globe is the American spread eagle, with the American shield on its breast. Right across the globe on the line of the equator is a strip on which is written Bailey &Co.

Having thus described my invention, what I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent of the United States, is-
