TO ALL WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
Be it known that I, A. C. FELTON, of Boston, in thc county of Suffolk, and State of Massachusetts, hav. originated and produced a new Design for Pendcnt Clock Cases, of which thc following is a. full and clear description, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, making part of this specification.
Thejnvention relates to the ornamentation of cases for that class of long-pendulum clocks called pendent clocks, used particularly in halls, stores, and olces, and hungr against a perpendicular wall thereof.
The design, which is represented in the drawing, consists ol' vertical pieces a, making up with cross-pieces frames for reception of glass panels b, the top and base of cach front piece a having applied thereto a moulding, c. Back of the dial board d the clock-works are placed, with the pendulum swinging below the same within the case. To the bottom of the case so formed is applied an ornamental base-piece, f, while the top of the case is eurmounted by the ornamental cap piece e.
I claim the design for a clock case, as shown and described.
