DESIGN FOR A BORDER-PLATE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 26,242, dated November 3, 1896. Application filed September 23,1896. Serial No. 606,784. Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom, it 11mg concern/.-
Be it known that I, EDWARD A. LANGEN- EACH, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of Canton, county of Stark, State of Ohio, have invented and produced a new and useful Design for Metallic Border-Plates, of which the following is a full, clear, and exact description, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, making part of this I0 specification.
The invention relates to a new design for metallic borders; and it consists of a strip of metal of the form and ornamentation shown in the accompanying drawings, in which- 15 Figure 1 is a plan view of the design for a border, and Fig. 2 is a sectional view of the same.
The leading feature of the design isastrip of metal formed with the longitudinally-extending bulge l ;the parallelbulgc 2, arranged below the bulge 1 and less abrupt than the bulge I; the flat marginal upper and lower edges 2) and -.l, respectively, having raised ribs 5, alternating with circular ribs 0; the cone-shaped ribs 7, inelosing fan-shaped fig ures 8 and separated by arrow-heads 9; the vertical ribs 10, separated by triangular heads 11, and short vertical lines 12.
\Vhat I claim is The design for metallic borders, as herein shown and described.
