To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, JULIUS M. My invention will be understood by reference to the accompanying drawings, in which the same numbers refer to corresponding parts in all the views.
Figure I is an elevation of a portion of a wheel having arim of my original design. Fig. II is an enlarged section of said wheelrim. Fig. III is a similar enlarged view showing a portion of the side of the wheel-rim in perspective.
The wheel-rim consists of three members, numbered, respectively, 1, 2, and 3, the outer edge of the inner member 1 being marked by the lines 4 4. This member has substantially flat sides 5 5 and an inner straight or flattened face 6 and rounded corners 7 7 The middle member 2 begins at the line 4 and extends thence with swelling or convex sides 8 S to the lines 9 9. The outer member 3 extends from said line 9 9 with convex or swelling sides 10 10, which meet in the rounded point 11, so that it resembles in outline the section of one end of an egg.
Having thus fully described my invention, what I claim, and desire to protect by Letters Patent, is-
