WILLIAM P. MCCONNEL, OF BEAVER, PENNSYLVANIA.
DESIGN FOR A KNIFE OR SCRAPER.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 26,019, dated September 15, 1896.
Application filed 18, 1896. Serial No. 596,075. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, WILLIAM P. MCCON- XEL, acitizen of the United States of America, residing at Beaver, in the county of Beaver and State of Pennsylvania, have invented a certain new and useful Design for a Knife or Scraper, of which the following is a specification, reference being had therein to the accompanying drawings.
This invention relates toanew and original design fora knife or scraper, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, showing the same, in which- Figure 1 is a perspective view of the knife or scraper complete. Fig. .3 is a sectional view of the blade.
The leading feature of the design is the blade (1, which is beveled from the center on each side to the edges, and has a rounded outer end I), slightly curved upwardly. The blade is tapered slightly at the rear end and is secured in a slot in the handle 0, said slot extending in alinement with the handle.
My design for scraper is adapted to be employed in removing perspiration and filth from the hair of horses, cattle, &c.
Having fully described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
The design for a knife or scraper as herein shown and described.
