DESIGN FOR A HANDLE FOR SLEiGHS, 800.

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 19,758, dated April 15, 1890.

Application filed March 19, 1890. Serial No. 344,538- Term of patent '7 years.

To all whom it may concern.-

Be it known that I, GEORGE S. CALDWELL, of Auburn, Cayuga county, New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Handles for Sleighs, Wagons, Doors, &e., of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part hereof, in which- Figure 1 is an elevation, and Fig. 2 a top View, of my said design.

The leading features of my design are the curved bar which forms the grip of the handle and the two curved bars projecting, respectively, on each side thereof.

My design consists in the curved bar A, of nearly elliptical form, as shown. From each side of the bar A extend curved bars B and B. At the upper ends of the bars B B appear flattened portions 0 C, here shown as of approximately circular outline. The lowest part of bar A and the lower extremities of bars B 13' appear in line.

The handle may appear curved laterally, as shown in Fig. 2; but this is not essential to the design.

I claim The design for a handle for sleighs, wagons, doors, &c., substantially as herein shown and described.
