DESIGN FOR A FASTENING-TAB.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 25,436, dated April 28, 1896.
Application filed January 23, 1896. Serial'No. 572,466. Term of patent 14 years.
To @ZZ whom it may concern.-
Beit known that I, MARIE H. MERGENTIIA- LER, a citizen of the United States, residing at Albany, in the county of Albany and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Fastening-Tabs, of which the following is a full and exact description, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, which forni part of this specification.
Figure l is a front elevation of a fastening tab, showing my design; Fig. 2, a like elevation showing part of a stocking-supporter attached to my fastening-tab, and Fig. 3 a perspective view of a corset provided with fastening-tabs of my design.
The leading feature of my design consists of aplanesnrfaoe whose outline, when viewed in elevation, as in the accompanying drawings, has the contour of the segment of a circle at the lower end and at the upper portion a neck having parallel edges and with its upper end formed at right angles to the parallel edges of said neck, the latter being narrower than the diameter of the segment.`
A is my fastening-tab, whose lower portion is approximately circular in its form, and the upper portion of said fastening-tab, which is narrower than J[he diameter of the circle of the lower portion, has parallel ed ges. Vithin the circular lower portion of said fasteningtab openings C are formed.
What I claim, and desire to secure by Let ters Patent, Vis- The design for a fastening-tab, substantially as herein shown and described.
