Application filed January 23,1895. Serial No. 535,977. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, EMILE WAGNER, a citizen of the United States, residing at Washington, in the District of Columbia, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a \Vatch-Charm and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same.
This invention relates to a design for a watch-charm, or similar ornamental attachment for watch-chains, and the like, the object being to present a device for this purpose having a novel and attractive shape, and it therefore consists in the newly-designed watch-charm, substantially as will be hereinafter described and claimed.
In the annexed drawings illustrating my invention,-Fignre 1 is a perspective view of an ornament fashioned in accordance with my new design. Fig. 2 is another perspective view of the same, looking at the other side. Fig. 3 is a top plan view.
Like letters denote like parts in all the figures of the drawings.
A denotes a flat circular disk which forms the base of my newly-designed watch-charm. Rising above the base A are the forms of a plasterers trowel B, a pair of compasses or dividers C, a right-angled square D, and a Roman letter G, which is designated by the reference letter E. These figures are all grouped together as shown. The point I) of the trowel B is at the periphery of the disk A, and the trowel is in an inclined position, with its handle b uppermost. The bottom pointsof the legs c of the compasses C are in contact with the periphery of the disk A, while the vertex of said compasses is at the top and is formed with an eye 0. The letter G is inclined with its lower edge at the periphery of disk A, while its upper part is provided with a projection e, which meets the vertex of the compasses O. The handle I) of the trowel B also appears in contact with the joint of the compasses. The right-angle D surmounts the disk centrally and its two legs at d occupy upwardly inclined positions and cross the legs 0 c of the compasses C. A chain F is shown connected to the eye 0'.
What I claim is The design for a watch charm as herein described aud shown.
In testimony whereof I afiix my signature in presence of two witnesses.
EMILE WAGNER. Witnesses:
