ATTOHNE Y8 UNITED STATES FRANK. M. \VIIITEMAN, OF
PATENT OFFICE.
ANTON, OllIO.
DESIGN FOR A BASE FOR A GAME APPARATUS.
To all whom, it may concern.-
Be it known that I, FRANK. M. \VHITEMAN, a citizen of the United States, residingat Canton, in the county of Stark and State of Ohio, have invented and produced a new and original Design for the Base of a Game Apparatus, of which the following is a specification.
Reference is to be had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part of this specification, in which the figure represents a perspective view of the base of a game apparatus embodying my new design.
The design relates to the class of devices by which a ball is to be thrown or tossed bya trap.
The leading feature of my design consists in the novel configuration of the base of the apparatus. Thus the body a of the base is cylindrical in shape exteriorly and interiorly and the sides are spaced apart at the rear, and from the top of the body at such open rear depart the lines of the member I) simulating the stock and trail of a gun carriage, said lines continuing outward and downward as shown. The bottom lines of the inernberb curve downward and then outward from the body, while the top lines depart outwardly withoutdownward inclination and then curve downwardly and outwardly. Further, the outer end of the arm is broadened, while the inner end has its greater dimensions disposed vertically and presents a furcated conformation. The lines of the trapa depart from the base at a point adjacent to the body and form an angle with the arm I) as shown.
I claim- The design for the base of a game apparatus herein shown and described.
