SPECIFICATION forming hart of Design No. 23,268, dated May 15, 1894.

Application filed April 19, 1894. Serial No. 508,224. Term of patent 7 years.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, WALLACE DURAND, a citizen of the United States, residing at Newark, in the county of Essex and State of New Jersey, have invented and prod need a new and original Design for \Natchcases; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention,suoh as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, and to letters of reference marked thereon, which form a part of this specification.

Figure 1 is a face view of a watch case, and Fig. 2 is an edge view of the same, these two views being deemed sufficient to fully illustrate the design.

The leading feature of the design consists in the watch case, which is round in plan, is oonvexly curved at its edges and at the center of the sides is approximately flat, the flat center part being ornamented with a lionshaped decoration.

In said drawings, a, indicates the round face of the watch case which is convexly curved at the edges and, at the center of the sides, approximately flat, as indicated in Fig. 2. The fiat center part is ornamented by a figure representing a lion in conventional form, and above the same the surface is decorated with a figure similar to the zodiacal sign for the constellation Leo.

What I claim as new is- The design for a watch case herein shown and described.
