DESIGN FOR A WATCHCASE;

SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 23,237, dated May 1, 1894 Application filed Pehruary 28. 1894- Snrial Ne. 501,37i'. Term of'patcnt 7 years.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that 1, WALLACE DURAND, a citizen of the United States, residing at New ark, in the county of Essex and State of New Jersey, have invented and produced anew and original Design for \Vatchcases; and. I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same, refcrcnce being had to the accompanying drawings, and to letters of reference marked thereon, which form a part of this specification.

Figure 1 is a face view of the Watch case and Fig. 2 is an edge view of the same,thesc two views being deemed necessary to fully illustrate the design.

The leading feature of my design consists in the Watch-case which is round in plan, is couvexly curved at its edges and at the center is substantially flat, the said flat center having fish. shaped ornaments, the bodies of which are curved in near correspondence with the round sides of the case l l l l l g l l In said drawings, it indicates the Watch case which is round in plan, convexly curved at the edges and at the eentersuhstantially flat as in Fig. lhe said flat center part is or namented by fish shaped figures b, b, which are oppositely curved, as though swimming in a circle, the concave sides of the figures facing one another and the convex sides cor responding more orless closely with t he round sides of the watch. Above the lish shaped figures, b, is an ornament, c, resembling the zodiacal sign for pisces.

What I claim as new is- The design for a Watch case, suhstmitially as shown and described.
