DESIGN FOR A LINK FOR CLOTHES-LINES.
SPEGIFICATION formingpart of Design No. 19,685, dated March 4, 1890.
Application filed January 23,1890 gerial No. 337,886. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, JOHN J. WALLACE, a citizen of the United States, residing at Montrose, in the county of Eflingham and State of Illinois, have invented a new and original Design for Links for Clothes-Lines, of which the following is a specification.
The invention relates to a new and original design for links for clothes-lines.
In the drawings, Figure 1 is a side view of a. clothes-line link showing my new design. Fig. 2 is a plan View.
The leading feature of my design is the rectangular insertion-opening having slight ly-inclined sides.
Referring to the accompanying drawings, 1 designates a clothes-line link, having parallel side parts 2 and 3, and provided at its ends with loops or rings 4 and 5,which are arranged at right angles to each other. The clothesline lin: 1 is provided midway itslength with a rectangular o gening 6, having parallel sides 7 and 8 and inclined ends 9 and 10, that are arranged at an angle to the sides 7.
Having described my invention, what 1 claim is The design for a clothesline link herein shown and described, the same consisting of the parallel parts 2 and 3, having at their ends the rings 4 and 5, arranged at right an gles to each other, and being provided midway its length with the rectangular opening 6, having the parallel sides 7 and 8 and the inclined ends 9 and 10, as set forth.
